Day 9 & 10 Quit Day 2 & 3

Day 9 Quit Day 2
Well, it went well. Considering I had an extra kid! I feel great about it!

Day 10 Quit Day 3
Today was really rough. Early this morning, I had my nephew's ballgame, the my niece and daughters, then my sons. Very busy day. I had a few issues, and no names mentioned, I had a couple of people not entirely supportive, but thankfully my sister (AND MY SUPPORTER) was there for me to yell at and cry to. I think my emotions have been a little strange. I don't think it has much to do with the Chantix. I am just feeling a bit overwhelmed and I think I need a good cry. And I have gotten that several times today. And I think I might have that good cry again tonight. LOL.

This evening, I went to my mother in laws to have dinner. They had some BBQ going, and we sat outside and cooked and ate. My mother in law and sister in law both smoke, as did my father in law. Since his "issue" on Monday, he has decided to start eating better and quit smoking. He has not smoked since Monday, and is on the nicotine patch. I feel closer to him because we are going through this together, but I know it has to be way harder on him than me. He still lives with a smoker, who smokes inside the house and around him. I can leave their house when I need to. He can't. My husband comes home on Wednesday. I can't wait to show him how good things are going!

On a lighter note, my home is getting a super cleaning! It is amazing how much more you get done when you don't have to stop and smoke! I really didn't think much about it until today when I got a ton of stuff done in sooo little time...without a break! I feel like I smell better. I don't think the taste buds are any different, but I defiantly feel like I can smell EVERYTHING.

The cravings. I think the cravings are just mental cravings. I have caught myself thinking about one more lungful of smoke. How relaxing that has to be. But I get busy doing something else, and it will go away. Nights have to be the hardest. I am so used to sitting on the porch, smoking and chit chatting on the phone.
