Today was my first day of Chantix. I took my first pill this morning with a grilled cheese sandwich and a dr. pepper. I had no problems with it. I did get a little sleepy, but I can't swear that was Chantix. I like lots of sleep. LOL. My quit date is Thursday (one week from today). I don't feel anxious about it. I just know that I have to do this for my kids and husband...and before we build a new house! I am super excited about it. I can't wait to be smoke free!! My husband works two weeks, then is home for two weeks. He left yesterday, and when I kissed him I told him "This is the last time you will kiss a smoker!" I know I can make good on that promise!!
Can't wait to be smoke free!!
